biography

Sabrina’s theatre career began at the very young age of 8 when she performed for the first time in a young adults production of The Wiz and has been hooked ever since. Soon after this discovery, she auditioned for the San Francisco production of Les Miserables and was given the role of Young Cosette/Eponine. Not only did she thoroughly enjoy being able to participate with such a great group of people and grow in experience, she also gained her equity card.

From there, Sabrina continued with her education and to enrich her skills as a theatre performer. After attending Homestead High School in Cupertino, CA, she transferred to San Jose State University to attain her B.A. in Theatre Arts. While at SJSU, Sabrina became a member of Company One (2000-2001) and performed in other outside works in collaboration with her degree for such musicals as: 42nd Street as Peggy Sawyer (WVLO) and Mame as Pegeen Ryan (SDG). After graduation in December of 2001, Sabrina went on to explore and try new things and participated in an Opera production of The Marriage of Figaro as Barbarina with West Bay Opera in Palo Alto, CA. And most recently, she was seen as Masie in Playhouse West’s production of The Boyfriend in Walnut Creek, CA.

Aside from theatre Sabrina has also always enjoyed working in the Film industry as well. During her High School years she continued to audition for projects and commercials, which gained her, her SAG and AFTRA cards. She participated in a short film entitled, ‘Just Like Me’ for Doug Ludwig Productions in Los Angeles, where she played a young girl named, Jenny, who learned about the realities of life and friendship. Afterwards, she was seen in a National Commercial for Cotton, Inc., called ‘The Driving Lesson,’ where she played a 15-year-old learning how to drive a car with her “Mom.” Later after college, she participated in the taping of a short film for a student from The Academy of Arts, in San Francisco, where she played Patti a woman who likes to give an elder man a hard time and in the process helps him remember his own daughter.

When Sabrina is not performing, she enjoys working on other “crafty-type” projects and also enjoys being able to hone her skills in both dance, acting and vocal classes. After living and studying in Los Angeles area, Sabrina has returned to the San Francisco Bay Area. She is continuing to study and audition hopes to continue to grow both as a person and as an entertainer.
